Definitely a supplement with more of what has been mentioned above (weapons, aliens, ships, etc.) I love the random forehead and alien creation tables. It would be awesome to see tables to create "rubber suit" or "CGI" aliens to cover weirder types of species as well!

I really like the random forehead aliens creation material. Rubber suit aliens would work as well.

I'd also like to see non-military stuff like trade tables and such.

If you're going to include the foreheads table you almost have to call the supplement Starships & Spacemen: The Next Generation

Greetings. New forum member, long time rpg player. I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but here goes. I wanted to know about third party licenses for S&S products since I've done a little design work and enjoy this setting and rules set. Can you please tell me what you need from me etc?

Thanks,
Rob

I'm going to second the idea for a companion volume with additional races, equipment, ships, etc. Also a GM screen would be welcome.

I'd like to see you guys support this game. You guys published 2e back in 2012, but have yet to release a single sourcebook, adventure module, or gaming aid. It's like a dead product.

I would suggest the following updates to the core rulebook:
1. Pull out all the setting-specific stuff into a setting-specific sourcebook. Make the core rulebook generic enough to work for any (retro) sci-fi campaign.
2. Overhaul the equipment list. Go take a good look at Alternity, d20 Future, and Star Wars to get some inspiration. While you're at it, add some quick-reference tables for weapons.
3. Get rid of the Enlisted Crew classes.
4. Make Command a subclass of every class.
5. Create a wealth system and allow players to buy/sell equipment (call it a Replicator if you like).
6. Expand the psi powers.
7. Modify the encounter tables to take average party level into consideration

Then, I'd like to see you pump out a setting-specific sourcebook, plus some adventure modules.

Hope this helps.

Also cybernetics. You could write a whole sourcebook on this.

And classes for non-Spacefleet characters, like Privateer, Colonist, Diplomat, Spy, etc. These are needed for NPCs (but could also be interesting as PC options).
