Looks around, smells the fresh paint. Sneezes. (Allergies). Likes what he sees, just hopes he can log in from work.

EDIT: Just tried from work. Access denied.
Damn my employer, expecting me to work during working hours and not use work computers for personal use! <grin>

Ah well, I save most of my stuff on my home laptop. I think there will be a lot of.copy/paste action going on for a few days as people bring in their stuff and unpack it.

Thanks for this move, Dan. It will be a minor inconvenience in exchange for a great deal more security and control.

Yeah, the basic theme is smooth and clean, and the goblinoidgames server is WAY faster than the freeyabb server. That and I can centreclick on a link and have it open the thread in another tab without also opening the thread in the active tab, something that annoys me to no end on freeyabb.

Glad you guys like it so far, but again I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience. It's a real shame that we have to leave so many old posts over there but in the long run this will be better. I can actually have regular backups, less inconvenience in ads, and less chance of trojans/viruses etc. on boards that are out of my control. I'm hosted with Host Gator and have been for about two years. So far, no problems. SO let's hope the new forums have the same luck my websites have!!
