[Fanzine] Gauging Interest

For discussion of all things Labyrinth Lord.

What Would Your Involvement Most Likely Be?

I would probably contribute something (art, writing, maps, etc.) to the first issue. I would expect to get a free copy of the PDF at the very least.

I would contribute, but I don't work for free. I would expect a free copy of the PDF plus some type of freelance pay.

I would be willing to pay a nominal fee for a decent fanzine, but I probably won't contribute anything.

It's a fanzine. Heck no I'm not going to pay for it! It should be given out for free.

14 days and over 400 downloads. Still plenty of time to submit to Issue #2. Help get the word out!

Pete - Issue 1 was great, I really enjoyed it. And if I had even a few molecules of creativity I would contribute something for Issue 2!

I'm playing in your Stonehell game so I know for a fact you have more than a "few molecules" of creativity! Dig out some new magic items, monsters, or even a goblin lair you've made for your home campaign and send it my way! :-)

Just an update on Brave the Labyrinth - Issue #2. I've done the final proofread and sent the PDF off to the contributors for one last read through. Tonight I'll be uploading the cover and print version to RPGNow for approval and then I will order a proof to make sure everything lined up right. If all goes well, we're still looking good for an Oct 1st release.

Preliminary contents include:

-Five (5) New Magic Spells
-Six (6) New Monsters
-Two (2) Unstocked Village Maps
-One (1) Elite Orc War Party
-Nine (9) New Magic Items
-One (1) New Pantheon
-One (1) "Drop In" Locale (Carnival of the Setting Sun)
-Articles on designing 0-level humans, being a better gamer, a review of the adventure GT2 Come Hell or High Water, and submission guidelines for Issue #3!

Thanks again for the hard work of everyone who took the time to contribute. It's really nice to see the creativity of our community. I found myself mentally slotting monsters and magic items from this issue into my own campaign, especially the creepy horror-themed monsters submitted by our own "greyarea". Just in time for Halloween!

BTW, congrats on the success of BTL. I'm drawing in roughly 1/4 of the downloads you are with my little Labyrinth Lord zine. Makes me proud to be contributing to BtL too!
