Grimes - Halfling

Grimes picks up the crispy troll-head and makes the jaw move, doing his best ventriloquist act in a nasally, high pitched voice: "I say we go that way to get... ahead."
Then he spikes the head on the floor like a football and starts laughing... "A head... get it? Heh heh heh... oh, that's a good one... a head..."

And he chortles to himself over his dumb joke.

OOC: Grimes is fine with the direction Furuk proposed.

Dieter laughs at the antics. I'm good with the direction.

Heading northwest, you see that there is a door on the south side of the passage some way down and that the passage turns to the the north further on. The stench is intensified in the hall.

Grimes makes a pained expression and says "What the heck is that smell? Ugh." He puts an ear to the door to listen... (yeah, he's not a thief, but he's giving it a shot...)

There is a burned stump of a troll's arm nailed to this door. When Grimes listens at the door, his helmet nudges the arm and it swings slightly.

He hears nothing beyond the door.

Grimes shrugs his shoulders and says "Can't hear a thing. But if that arm and our headless fella back there mean anything, we might be seein' more a' those things realll soon. Say, Dieter... you got anymore a' that fire stuff?"

OOC: Want to try the door? Or go around the corner first? I'm kind of leery leaving anything unexamined behind me...
