Ahead of it's time...

Wow....I'm only part way through the book and I have to say that Wizards' World was ahead of it's time. The use of the abilities and the magic system are really well thought out. Truthfully, with some editing and hype, I can see this game making a big comeback...it's really good.

I agree wholeheartedly! I mean, when I've taken things like characters multiclassing on a whim for granted in Pathfinder/3rd edition games I've played. It's kind of neat to see the idea kicked around all the way back in 1983.

I have never been smitten with any system in particular, but this game really hit home. It is innovative and open ended enough to be able to add things to on a whim. Game two coming this weekend.
