Shae - Fighter/Mage
"Well between the humidity and wind gusts, I can rule out having a good hair day." Shae quips. "This entrance is obviously seldom used."

OC: Is anybody carrying a torch or lantern? Or, do we still have a porter helping us?

Theo is still with you. He has the Glowing Dirk of Luminescence, as he's taken to calling it.

Einar, Thief

Einar pulls the arrow from his bow and tosses it into the floating green muck near where it sticks to the wall. If it comes alive, he will stay out of the way as his brave companions defeat it. If it does not react he will retrieve the arrow and advance upon the 10' passage heading east and inspect it for safe passage.

Einar retrieves his arrow after the green fungal grown does nothing in reaction to it. He makes it down seventy feet before the corridor turns north.

The walls are rough hewn, as if they've been cut from the mountain, and the passage, a comfortable ten by ten foot, is damp all the way down. The floor is rough under the foot of water and inch or so of muck and slime.

Grimes - Fighter

Grimes makes a pained face and shakes his head. "Yuck. Leave it to us to find the muckiest place to journey to. Next time, let's find a nice clean castle or something."
I guess we keep going, eh?

The party progresses. The floor, though rough, is slippery and the green fungus is less than appetizing. Turning north where the passage bends, you soon see ahead of you a leonine figure. This huge creature has the body of a lion but the head of a beautiful woman and large wings. The passage seems to split behind her into three separate passages, one continuing north, one northeast and the third northwest. She sits at the junction of this split.

You are about twenty feet away from her. She does not seem to notice or care that you approach, being very interested in the nails on her forepaw and humming to herself.

Grimes - Fighter

Grimes slows, then mumbles to the others, glancing back at them "Mmmm hmmm. That's not the sort of thing you see every day." He observes the thing for a moment, and if it doesn't react or make any moves, he'll approach it slowly. If it makes any hostile movements, Grimes will whip out his sword and prepare to engage it.

Otherwise, he stops about 10 feet away and says "Hello there. I'm Grimes. Are you okay?"

OOC: Not sure what to make of this. Could be bad. Could be good. Knowing my luck, 99% chance of being super-bad.

Dieter - Mage

Hmmm, yes that is strange. To his comrades. To the critter: May we pass?
