Conversion Question

I'm converting a creature from an old issue of the old Judge’s Guild magazine The Dungeoneer into Mutant Future and had a conversion question. The issue gave stats for the creature for various game systems and also had specific notes, etc. for each system. It had a D&D version given and a 1st edition Metamophosis Alpha/ 1st edition Gamma World set of stats given. Would it be better for Mutant Future to just use the D&D stats for Hit Dice, Armor Class, and Damage or the MA/Gamma ones instead? The MA/Gamma ones are very different from the D&D ones. Hit Dice for example are 6 in the D&D version but are 20 in the MA/Gamma version.

I'm leaning to using the D&D ones and just using the MA/Gamma specific stuff for mutations and description.
