You may roll your own Stats, or I can roll for you if you prefer.

Stats
STR (Strength)
DEX (Dexterity)
AGL (Agility)
PER (Personality)
WPR (Willpower)
PCN (Perception)
LUCK (Luck)
STA (Stamina)

Roll 3d10 and total. Multiply the total x2. Finally add +20.
[(3d10)2]+20 Range 26 - 80
Repeat 8 times. Assign as desired.
If three stats are 40 or less, you may reroll all Stats again.

Skills
Roll 1d10 for the number of starting skills
Roll 1-3 = 3 Skills
Roll 4-6 = 4 Skills
Roll 7-9 = 5 Skills
Roll 10 = 6 Skills

Paranormal Talents
A character qualifies for 1-3 if he meets BOTH the PCN and WPR requirements.
PCN 60-69 and WPR 50-59 = 1 PT
PCN 70-79 and WPR 60-69 = 2 PT
PCN 80+ and WPR 70+ = 3 PT

**Bonus Exp for a Bio and image of your character!**

Question - on the character sheet in the book, each PT has a 'base' and a 'score'. I saw what the base is - but what is the 'score'? I can't seem to find it in the book.

Hmmm, I'll check it out. I may have to ask for a clarification on the CRYPTWORLD questions thread. Thanks!

Sorry I'm late to the party. I was expecting a forum called "Undead in the 80s" or some malarky.

I've started my character. Can I switch around stats? Also, I created an FBI character, who would normally have a gun on board (they are required by Federal Law to carry their weapon with them at all times, which I'm sure is fun at the beach). Is that allowed by the DM? Should I choose another profession?

I asked Dan about this, as my memory was a bit fuzzy too. "Base" refers to the formula for that Skill/PT. "Score" is the number itself. The "Base" is a reference in case your Ability scores are adjusted or changed during play so you can recalculate the Skill/PT without thumbing back through the book for the formula again.

You may assign stats however you'd like.
Sure, you can be an FBI agent. I mean the truth is out there right? ;)
Having your gun on board is part of your concept...so okay...in the words of Newt: "It won't make any difference."

Name the Game!
I don't think I mentioned this to merias, but I am offering bonus experience to any player that comes up with a better name than my working title: Eerie Tales of Adventure. So far badams and Spanningtree have made some suggestions.
Don't let badams win...please!
