Corandel the Black is an aging magic user who has settled down rather grumpily in his mountain stronghold, He spends his days just sitting around in his slippers smoking his pipe and eating large and lavish meals. Occasionally – well rather more than that - he has to oversee apprentice wizards, correct homework and repair the damage done by errant spell-casting.
Bliss? Well perhaps not. In fact Corandel spends much of what little free time he has dreaming wistfully of the time he spent adventuring - battling orcs, burning trolls and slaying dragons. Now THAT was bliss!
Corandel has spent most of his life concentrating on magic pertaining to fire and earth, hence his mountain stronghold. He realized quite early on that fire was rather a good weapon against most things and where it failed, then earth usually did the job.
But Oh! If only he hadn’t given up life on the road….

I rolled the stats myself and then allocated them around. I only had 1 roll of 17 so I took 2 from Wis to top it up to 18. Is that OK?
Extra spells from high intelligence = +2 1st, +2 2nd, +1 3rd and +1 4th. Is that right.
