After yet another three day hospital (April 2-4) stay, they found out what was wrong this time and the verdict is type 2 Diabetes due pancreatitis that is basically a inflamed pancreas. My new best friend is my Blood Glucose Meter and next is Metformin no shots yet.

Sucks being middle aged, it all starts to fall apart - I know from experience. Still, it's always good to have a definitive answer to the crazy stuff that starts happening to our health. Look after yourself oldgamergeek, no doubt you're about to embark on a lifestyle change (diet, exercise, etc.).

Just had a root canal "re-treat" myself. The infection causing an absess and eating away a bit of my jaw. Oh such fun! :roll: :)
