Tret, rogue

Does it appear to be locked? Can it be opened from this side? Tret pushes his way past the goblins and listens to the door and checks for traps.

Soldath - Mage

Indeed, Soldath follows putting away his shaft. Touchy little guys...

Tret, you examine the door, finding no traps. Though there's no lock on the outside, a quick push and tug at the door suggests that it's barred from the inside.

Soldath - Mage

To the gobbies: Is there a chimney about? You know, they have to have meals and such in there.... or... we could knock.

Athelstan - FIghter

Athelstan nods in agreement with Soldath. We could knock hard a few times and step aside. When they come out to investigate, Tret could pepper them with arrows, and our goblins and myself could close for melee."

Renardius (Cleric)

"Or perhaps another entrance? Although this one seems quite unused, perhaps it is a back door... it would be ideal if we could open it without alerting those inside. But it seems the best plan may be to knock, let them open it up. They may ask for a password though before opening the door."

Soldath - Mage

Another entrance is a possibility... if we can find they are getting air or exhausting it we could plug it up. Maybe try to smoke them out.

Athelstan - FIghter

Athelstan will try to prompt the goblins to search with him to find a smoke exit or another entrance to this place...

The goblins, seeming to have resigned themselves to serving you--for now, help you search ground above the river bank. You find nothing that looks like a chimney, nor any other entrances.

Actions?

Soldath - Mage

Soldath will take a closer look at the door from the side. He's looking for a peep hole or other viewport built into the door.

Hmmm.... we may only get one chance at this. Let's have one of the gobbies knock on the door while we wait on the sides of the door out of sight. Seeing a single meadow muffin outside the door they will open it to probably relieve him of his life. First and foremost we deter them from closing the door by obstructing it with a dead gobbie body, large stick... whatever. Then, well, we can do anything really. I could use sleep magics to clear the door out or you all can wade into melee... whatever works. Giving a friendly wave and smile, from a distance, to the gobbies that are with them. What do you think?
