Trying to run LL/AEC at local game shop

Postby bat » Sat Mar 12, 2011 4:34 am

A local video game/Magic card game shop I hear is considering running rpgs, specifically 4E and Pathfinder.

Guess who is offering to run LL/AEC? :P

Another place was supposed to open last December, but didn't and might not, however this place is going strong.

Are there any promotional posters/flyers still about?

Yep, drop me an email with your address and I can get some out. Thanks for running the game! James Mishler has been running it each week in Appleton and it's been a blast.

Maybe there can be a link or something with these "posters" available to print out- with a blank spot so we can write in the location, date, etc.

i don't have anything worked up yet exactly like that but it's a good idea and I'll get on it.

I had made some very generic flyers for TARGA, yet I thought it appropriate to ask Dan and make the presentation as slick as possible. Sending a PM now.

There's a LGS here that's fairly new, "The Haunted Cafe." They serve gourmet coffee and sell games - who'da thunk it? Anyway, they're big into 4eD&D, but I wonder if they'd be open to having an old school game night?

I'll be curious to see these posters/handouts - maybe I can start an evening game on the weekend over there.

What city are you in Bat?

Let the red dawn surmise
What we shall do,
When this blue starlight dies
And all is through.
