I have just released my first paper fingures steampunk miniatures on RPGnow and wargamevault. This is hopefully the first of many many releases.
Excerpt taken from a letter by Holmes to his grand daughter Rose.
"I stood and watched as my beloved London burned.
Burned by a vindictive madman, a man my equal.
As the houses of parliament finally shuddered and collapsed in on itself, I could not help but wonder if I was to blame. Did my pride, my stubbornness led the world to the brink of destruction in a war of steam and ash. A war of men and machine of gears hungry for blood and death.
Had I but stayed and faced my nemesis, might I have saved the world from the tears and screams of war . Had I but stood up and faced him in those last hours instead of disappearing into the dark.
I now see the grave error I made. an error that cost thousands their lives and engulfed a continent in war. The war is now bigger than me or "him". The war is now a beast of its own success, feeding feeding on the weak, feeding on their iron and blood. The man is now a leader, an emperor… he is now... one of the GODS of STEAM… and I must stop this madness."
