Question About Unsettling Powers

Postby jaerdaph » Mon Mar 24, 2014 11:29 pm

"Unsettling Powers should (generally) be used as a general check against PWR and cost 10 WPR per round."

I've always assumed that any use of an unsettling power requires a thing to make a general check against PWR to activate the power, but some of the unsettling powers in the book have no WPR cost per round listed. Do those just automatically cost 10 WPR per round, or is there no WPR cost per round associated with them?

Correct on both counts. The thing wielding the Unsettling Power makes a general check versus its PWR score, and, if successful, it costs 10 WPR unless otherwise stated. There are no "free uses" of supernatural abilities. ;)
