Looking for a Dragon Magazine discussion about 3rd edition

Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me. I have a recollection about an early article or maybe even an insert to an issue of Dragon Magazine, possible written by Chris Perkins, about the (then) upcoming AD&D 3rd edition. It addressed various questions and concerns (I also vaguely remember it having yellow pages for the section?). I have the Dragon Magazine archive but can't seem to find what I remember seeing.

Issue #274 was the first 3rd ed. issue. Hopefully that helps you track down the issue you're looking for.

I'm looking for a pre-3e discussion, possibly even an insert, about 3e. It must be pre 274 but post 250.

It looks like all the official announcement stuff kicked off from #263, but there is an article on the subject by Chris Perkins on page 30 of #265, "Countdown to Third Edition, The Big Announcement". It's his perspective of the official announcement at Gen Con.
