I'd advise against having magic item shops. Two reasons:
1) Min-Maxers go nuts with them.
2) What it does to the feel of the setting. (King Arthur didn't buy excalibur from a walmart, just sayin'. Link didn't hop into a 7/11 and get his master sword and a burrito, he quested for it.)
It's not a mistake price lists are left out of the rules. They're missing because magic shops aren't part of the implied setting.
