The use of armor in Cryptworld
How would one rule on modern body armor and archaic armor as well?

Do you mean beyond what's in the CRYPTWORLD rulebook? There's information for handling called shots and determining body coverage & hits, and the general armor guide on page 44 includes bullet proof vests and combat suits. If there's something in between that PCs are wearing, I'd assign it an appropriate number. What might be complicated, but potentially fun, is for PCs going up against a werewolf to have steal & silver alloy forearm guards.
