Saturday Morning Style Alien Critters

The gruesome fellow up above is the start of a series of aliens beasties that I am working on. I'm going for an 80's Saturday Morning feel for these guys, and I thought you would get a kick out of them. The X-Plorer stats for the fellow above can be found over at my blog Space Madness!

Space Ghost, Johnny Quest, The Galaxy Trio, Frankenstein Jr, and similar action-packed cartoons are near and dear to my heart. Back when monster were monsters, and daring-do saved the day.

Here is an "Asteroid Dragon" that will be troubling my player characters soon if they get any closer to those caves! Stats will be posted on my blog soon.

In the theme of 80's Saturday morning cartoons, I will be using several "stock" backgrounds to display these beasties. More to come!

Alex Toth was an excellent creature and hero designer. I enjoy most of his production in the Hanna-Barbara workshops.
