I don't know anything about S&S but this game seems to drive people nuts (in a good sense). What was so good about the original version? And in what ways can this game serve those who aren't fans of Star Trek?

It could be applied to any science fiction setting that had some structure to it...for example Space:1999(2099), Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica, and even such as Firefly/Serenity.

An interesting alternative to Traveller, because it is a bit more focused.

And to be honest I suspect the strong interest is the compatibility with MF and LL.

Hi everyone! I've started adding people to the permissions to access the playtest forum. The instructions for getting the playtest draft are there.

If you have access you should see the playtest forum as a subforum to the Starships & Spacemen regular forum. I'm going to make a stick post for new people in this forum.

Crossing my fingers. It would be heartbreaking not to be able to publish this. Most of the work is done, just some last polishing and buying art, etc. But we're off to a great start and I'm pretty confident this is a solid game with a great flavor.

That's pretty great considering it's not even been pimped at RPGnet or RPG Geek yet. I know I'm going to plug it in a few places, I really want this to happen.
