Dieter - Mage

Dessert may be served if you have some useful information for us. We seek another cavern below this one, would you know how to reach it?

We know only this chamber, replies the one. We come here from our plane to eat for it is full of tasty gems.

Another chimes in, Yes, you are right. Give us what we want. All the coin you can give.

Grimes - Fighter

Grimes eyes the odd creatures with suspicion and shrugs. "Ah, whatever. This is all my gold" and he takes his pouch and empties all 55GP he has onto the floor. "Here ya go, dessert. I'm giving this to you because you asked and I'm feeling generous, but if you take issue, it'll be a different story. Now let us be on our way, eh?"

Grimes will keep an eye on around us, suspicious of this being a set up or ambush.

OOC: I say unless we see something of use, let's get back to the boat. Don't really want to fight these things.

Grimes - Fighter

Grimes glances back several times to make sure the Xorn aren't following us and he says "Some odd critters in here, eh?" As we get back to the water Grimes says "What next? I say we take the fast moving water and try our luck."

Furuk - Fighter

Furuk ignores the creatures and heads back over the bridge to the boat.

"The fast water sounds like the correct route. Now we just have to come up with a plan to slow down the boat."

Grimes is the most dexterous, surprisingly.

Any chance the xorn will hold on to a rope for us? We could bribe them.
