Grimes - Wee Man Fighter

Grimes, cursing his stature, will take a leap of faith in the darkness, trying to strike the dragon again. If that misses, he'll slowly try to emerge from the darkness to assess the situation and where everyone is at.

Dieter will get away from Furuk and Dandy so they don't present a conveniently grouped breath weapon target, along the edge to the west. Dieter will lob a dart while on the move at the draco.

While Dieter does this he will yell at the top of his lungs It is me your looking for... the one who struck terror.. the one who made you blind!!!!.... You are weak!!

(Furuk fired last round. I'm assuming he's reloading)

Avatar battle round 6

INITIATIVE baddies d6, 1, party d6, 6 Party has initiative

Dieter lobs a dart at Razemeth the Avatar while taunting him (d20, 14, MISS) but the dart is affected by the backwash of the dragon's wings and flies short.

Dandy (autopilot) throws his hammer (d20, 8, MISS) without connecting.

Furuk reloads his heavy crossbow.

Grimes attempts to jump onto the flying drake (DEX check at -14 because the DM thinks this is foolhardy, 2, SUCCESS (despite DM's thoughts on the matter)) and makes it. He hangs on with the tenacity of a spider.

Einar (autopilot) stands at gates of a pearly substance, arguing for admittance.

````````````````````````````````````
D2 (in the dark) struggles with the web. It was weakened by the Avatar so he should be free soon.
Razemeth the Avatar says Taunt me, will you, little man. Make your last prayers. Perhaps your dwarf should put his hammer to better use. He casts charm person on Dandy (Save vs Spells, d20, 15, SUCCESS) but the spell has no effect. The Avatar roars in rage.
Grimes is on the dragon, hanging on like a spider-halfling. Dieter taunts the beast and Dandy seems peeved that he was the target of a spell.
Actions?
Hit points and marching order
Grimes 23 (+0) /34 (Super Heroism - level 8)
--Furuk 25/36 (Giant Strength)
Dieter 9/18
--Dandy 19/23
Grimes - Fighter
Grimes, elated that his suicide leap was successful, will try to bury his sword into the lizard for greatest effect, shouting "YEEEEEHAAAAAAAA! This may be my last ride, worm, but you'll feel my blade for as long as I'm a' breathing!"
Dieter - Mage
Dieter will pull out his scroll of polymorph self, while casting he will mumble: Dieter power activate, take on the form of a giant owl. Can you heal me Dandy?
OCC: 3 attacks per round 2d4/2d4/1d4+1 and flight. Not a bad critter me thinks. Scroll deducted.
Avatar battle round 7
INITIATIVE Baddies d6, 6, party d6, 2 baddies have initiative
D2 breaks free of his web. It takes him a tic to orient in the dark and then he's racing up the stairs to engage the half-orc with the crossbow. He will engage next round.
Razemeth the Avatar attacks the annoying halfling, trying to grab him in his remaining claw while casting Shocking Grasp (d20, 17, HIT, dmg d4+1, 4+1=5, save vs Spells, d20, 7, FAIL, electrical dmg d8+9, 7+9=16) nearly killing Grimes.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Dieter transmutes into a giant owl He flies to Dandy.
Dandy casts CLW on Dieter, bathing him in curing magix (d6+1, 5+1=6).
Furuk fires his crossbow (D20, 17, HIT, dmg d8, 3) and the bolt sinks deep.
Grimes attacks with his sword (d20, 17, HIT, dmg d6+1, 3+1=4).
The dragon screams in pain and you see his eyes dart towards the pool below. Grimes hangs onto life by a thread (or actually, two hit points) and Dieter, the owl, is ready for action. Furuk faces down the charging darkling.
Grimes - Fighter
Grimes grits his teeth and tries to plunge his blade deep into the dragon, knowing full well that this is probably the end for him. All he can think about is killing this thing and avenging Gatto, Wulfric, and all the others who've met their end inside the mountain.
