Why not add a direct link to the ruleset-specific pages in the place of the white highlights?

Not bad at all. I would allow any class to be a bard as there are great storytellers among all the races (and as a LOTRO junkie the class is one anyone can take). I made a few illusionist spells into something "bardic" to sort of make a bard a sub-sub-class of MU that was watered down enough that anyone could pick it up but I prefer an outright take on it like this.
