Let's do these instead. They're directly from the prerolled characters in the module. I'll assume Dave Cook knew what he was doing. The one exception is for Tasrem. Since there was only one prerolled wizard, I had to roll up his magic items.
Roikos: plate mail armor +1; shield +1; ring of fire resistance; staff of striking; potion of undead control
Zelaz: dagger +1; ring of telekinesis; scroll of magic missile, invisibility 10' radius, disintegrate; scarab of protection; wand
of cold
Aristide: long sword +1; leather armor +1; ring of spell turning
Taranna: sword +1, 8 +1 arrows; bag of holding
Tasrem: dagger +1, ring of protection +1; scroll of remove curse; dust of appearance; wand of magic missiles
Sam's fighter: sword +1, flames on command; potion of healing; potion of speed; plate armor +1; shield +1
Spells in spell book: assuming 8th level MUs and elves: 5 1st, 5 2nd, 3 3rd and 3 4th level spells. Pick whatever you spells you want for each spell level. No restrictions.
Note: I don't have much experience in assigning starting spells. Does that seem reasonable?
